What are the benefits of sending my dog to Suzi Pooch?

Oh, where do we begin? Doggy day care isn't just a playdate; it's a paw-some opportunity for your furry friend to mingle with a bunch of other pups! Under our watchful eyes, they'll learn the ins and outs of doggy language, pick up some basic manners, and burn off some of that endless energy. Plus, it's a great way to ease any separation anxiety, eliminate boredom bad behaviours and ensure they get their daily dose of exercise. And did we mention they'll make loads of new furry friends?

 

Does Suzi Pooch have Air Conditioning?

Yes! At Suzi Pooch's doggy day care, we've got the coolest spot in town! In summer our pups chill out in style in the air-con, making sure tails wag and tongues pant happily even on the hottest of days.

 

What age can I bring my dog to Suzi Pooch day care?

Puppies are more than welcome to join the party as young as 3.5 months old, as long as they're up to date on all their vaccinations. Just make sure to check in with your vet to give them the green light!

 

What vaccinations does my pup need to attend Suzi Pooch?

We’re all about the health and safety of the pups in our care. All of our furry friends must be fully vaccinated (C5: Distemper, Canine infectious Hepatitis, Parvo Virus, Bordetella Canine Parainfluenza Virus.  C5 is 3 yearly, however Kennel Cough Vaccine is yearly.  Proof of vaccination is required to be provided prior to attending, along with any annual updates.  Entry will not be allowed without vaccination proof on first day of care.  NB:  Suzi Pooch is a flea-free zone and all dogs are also required to have flea/tick and worm protection.

 

Does my dog need to be desexed to attend Suzi Pooch day care?

We want to ensure every pup has a tail-wagging good time and to keep our playdates drama- free! Pups over 6 months must be spayed or neutered, though this may be waived on a case-by-case basis.

 

Do you provide meals for the dogs?

We're all about healthy treats and happy tummies! While we MAY indulge in some yummy treats during training sessions.  If your dog requires a meal during the day, we recommend bringing your pup's regular food from home. That way, they can enjoy their meals just the way they like them.

 

Can I check in on my dog during the day?

Of course! We understand the importance of peace of mind. Feel free to give us a call, and we'll gladly give you a pupdate on your furry pal. 

 

How often do you clean the play areas?

We're tidy pups over here! Our play areas get a good scrubbing throughout the day to keep things fresh and clean for our four-legged guests.

 

What should I pack for my dog’s daycare adventure?

Make sure your pup is wearing a collar and has their lead to walk to/from the gates, along with any treats or medications.  We’ll take care of the rest and ensure they have a tail-wagging good time.
